Air Studio

Squeezing as large a recording studio as possible into this small unit, the design focuses on “what’s left”, the circulation space. This continuous, flowing space starts with the office, toward the light-filled lounge area, which turns into the studio wall feature with horizontally placed timber in varying widths according to a rhythm, leads towards a web-bar counter with mosaic tiles in rhythmic barcode, and turns into the sound booth facing the store and toilet with a giant hand-painted graphic artwork inspired by the work of Keith Haring. The lift lobby is completely renovated, a new stainless steel logo mounted over wood-grained concrete tiles that are custom-made on site.
