As part of House of Madison contemplation on the future home, this Dollhouse by via. explores the relationship between form and space. Featuring a soft, rose-gold sheen, Rosy’s gable roofs makes it immediately familiar. Deceivingly simple, the sculptural form is composed from three identical folded modules, rotated and joined together in three directions. What seem to be walls turn into ceilings, and ceilings transform into floors. This Escher-like creation speaks of the infinite possibilities of living in the future. Treated with a hairline texture on the outer surface, Rosy’s interior is completely left raw and unfinished. With oxidation, Rosy will grow with time and with each affectionate touch.
