Contemplating on the future home, via. explores the relationship between form and space with Rosy. Its gable roofs are immediately familiar. Deceivingly simple, the sculptural form is composed of three identical folded modules, rotated and joined together in three directions; What seem to be walls turn into ceilings, and ceilings transform into floors. This Escher-like creation speaks of the infinite possibilities of living in the future.
The original Rosy features a soft, rose-gold sheen which will grow with time and with each affectionate touch.
Where Rosy II explores materiality by transforming a folded shape into a solid form,
Rosy III treats the form as an object, creating two pieces of stationery with sustainable bamboo.
