YOO Sky Oasis

The interior of Sky Oasis aims to provide a fresh update to the One Oasis brand in its first joint venture with world renowned design brand YOO.

Taking cues from the ultra-modern architecture expressed in a striking façade which is both elegant and daring, the overall interior ambience of Sky Oasis is crisp, fun, and energetic. A simple, almost “black and white” palette is used to give the entire interior experience a classy vibe with a light-hearted touch. A distinct, modern look is achieved through choosing materials not only for their individual merit, but also to achieve contrast, such as matt against polished, textured stone against bead-blasted metal, and obscured glass against polished lacquered surfaces. White marble is used as the signature material throughout common areas, clubhouse, and unit internal finishes. Carefully selected character furniture pieces, feature light fixtures, and artwork and decoration come together as a playful foreground against the classy backdrop.

The Clubhouse and the entrance lobbies are designed as a seamless, hotel-like experience. Using the high-contrast palette as the background, a selection of luxurious stones, bead-blasted metal, polished lacquer surfaces, and relief timber wall are expressed in a contemporary language. A mildly patterned stone floor weaves together the function room, gymnasium, business centre, as well as changing rooms to the outdoor swimming pool. Maximizing the height of the space, full height windows and glass walls, full-height wall art, and tall feature pendant lights add interest and focus to the free-flowing Clubhouse and lobby space.

Inside the units, a fine balance is achieved between aesthetics and functionality. The unit layouts are efficient as they are most generously sized in their types; maximum space is given to the owners, who would furnish the space to express their individual lifestyle. An overall pared down, white and warm grey palette is used. All the thoughtful elements across different unit types can be experienced in the signature open-plan studio apartments. Being the most compact in size, the studios are fitted with built-in kitchen cabinets from renowned Italian kitchen maker Arclinea, and state of the art appliances from Swiss brand V-Zug. A custom designed, full-height “valet” unit is integrated next to all entrance doors, with built-in shelf for keys and coins, and concealed storage for shoes and other odds and ends. Each studio apartment comes with a stunning bathroom that rivals most design hotels. Each bathroom features a generous shower, complete with wall-shelves and floating seat finished in top-grade white marble and complemented with high-end faucets. The rest of the bathroom is designed with ample storage, both well-hidden and neatly displayed, outlined with bespoke metal details that double as drawer pulls or towel rails. Next to the water closet is a custom-designed magazine and toilet paper holder. Translating a sense of luxury through spaciousness, materials and fittings, and thoughtful design, the studio apartment exemplifies the luxurious spirit synonymous with One Oasis.
