showcasing artistic craftsmanship
“Designed for a young family with an affinity for contemporary elegance, Ede fuses decorative materials with meticulous details.”
Combining two adjoining units, the interiors serve as a crafted background to unobstructed views of Kowloon. To create a sense of tranquility against the dense cityscape, via. adopted a subtle palette with grey and brown undertones, juxtaposed with blue and gold accents.
The Living and Dining spaces feature a Black Tie Italian leather sofa and a pair of Minotti armchairs, placed on a custom worsted wool and silk rug from Tai Ping. The Master Suite showcases custom and collectible furniture pieces, including the Jaime Hayon “Ro” chair by Fritz Hansen. In the Master Bathroom, a specially-commissioned glass and marble mosaic wall contrasts with white marble and fogged glass panels for an added layer of refinement.
A key highlight is the use of bespoke Fromental wall coverings throughout the home – from the hand-painted “Travertine” silk piece in the Living Room, to the playful geometric pattern featured in the children’s play area. The focal point of the Dining Room is another hand-painted silk wall covering with embroidered blossoms.
