Urban Serenity exudes the intimate and relaxed vibe of a vacation home, while offering the flexibility of a contemporary city residence. Materials and colors were carefully chosen to incorporate casual and subtle textures, with shapes and patterns that recall elements of nature.
Defining the main living area is a striking hand-finished bronze feature wall, which doubles as a partition for a semi-enclosed study. Furniture and fittings showcase a range of designer pieces, as welll as pieces designed by via., like the nesting coffee table.
Throughout the residence, tactile materials emulate the warmth and richness of a vacation home: dual-tone terrazzo flooring and walls contrast with bleached oak surfaces and the custom-designed rug.
To match the understated interiors, hand-picked photographic works by Hong Kong-based artist Tugo Cheng, and Dutch photographer Marcel Heijnen are showcased on the Living and Dining room walls, adding an artistic quality to the space.
