via. took charge of designing the façade and interiors of the entire W50 building – a boutique office tower intended for small businesses and entrepreneurs in the burgeoning creative hub of Wong Chuk Hang.
In line with via.’s holistic approach to architecture and design, the studio was involved in every aspect of the project – from the façade, to the interiors of the public areas, logo and graphics, down to the creation of site-specific artwork.
Rejecting conventional office typologies, via. created a new identity that blurs the boundaries between work and living. The design demonstrates a unique hospitality experience that incorporates craft through naturalistic elements.
This sense of craft is also apparent in the way the exterior facade is conceived and constructed. Simplistic design features take cues from nature to enhance the relaxed atmosphere not usually seen in commercial office buildings.
