contemplating future dwellings
Designed for House of Madison’s “The Dollhouse Project”, Rosy explores the future of homes by looking at the relationship between form and space.
Named after its soft, rose-gold sheen, the sculpture is composed of three identical folded modules, rotated and joined together in three directions to create different perspectives.
What seem to be walls turn into ceilings, and ceilings transform into floors.
The Escher-like illusion speaks of the infinite possibilities of living in the future. Rosy will evolve with time with oxidation and the human touch.
